Big Horn Armories Lever Guns

I lean toward the 90 as it shoot 3 calibers, on the other hand for the 89 i have north of 250 rounds of Hornady 500 gr.

Those are 2 of the most exiting rifle to be offered since May the 1st.
A room temperature glass or 2 of dry red will help me sleep.:)

Not to step on PRFs toes, but I asked BHA directly about the 460/454/45 and they said they would discharge the rounds but wouldn't feed / cycle them properly. That's why I bought the 90A in 454 not 460. I haven't gotten my 454 yet but I'll definitely test it with 45 when I get home.

Might be wrong, but that's what I was told. Before you spend $4500 and it doesn't do what you want it to do.

Has anyone here done a reasonable amount of testing the 460 with all 3 calibers? That would be the best thing to hear. Or you can let us know? ;)

Ive read many mixed things on this as well, from what I gathered stick to single loading the 460, with 454/45c
Some say if you load 454 in 460 you have to angle it slightly to make it feed as the case is shorter? I think.
Its still not a bad even if you have to single shot the other 2 cals, makes it a bit more versatile, however is that worth the extra 600$

That's exactly what I came across too. I bought the 454 because I have 3 other 45-cal boomers if need be, and I didn't want to single load 454 being my primary caliber in this BHA rifle.

They're all beautiful, amazing guns. I would be upset if I bought one thinking it would feed all 3 just fine and it didn't. You also have to watch cast ammo vs jacketed, especially in 45 colt western loads.
