Quality AK pic mounts?

Ordered a PO3.5X21P from America off Amazon.ca i have my doubts that it will actually come from America but rather from Belarus. Will be interested to see if it makes it. Read more into the extent of the sanctions on Belarus. Its pretty messy and complicated for me to understand but it looks like Canadas sanctions apply to listed individuals, government institutions and listed Companys. Zenit-BelOMO doesnt appear to be one of them.

you suspected its coming from belarus and you still ordered it? crazy!! thats against the actions of alot of countries have taken TRYING to get them to stop the invasion/bloodshed.

your action doesnt prove anything, all it means is either your scope is already in the US or in a neighboring country, kinda circumventing the sanctions of no flights and no cargo ships from belarus. like your payments it went to the US, it couldnt go to belarus bcos no bank or CC will process it.

i ordered stuff from belarus and russia before the conflict but received them after the war started and i shipped them back and got my money back. i will not support any countries that attacked another country for no reason.

i finally got a real chinese posp scope from vector optic.

Not entirely sure if Canada sanctioned Belerus's economy close to the extent that they did in Russia. Many payment methods may still work for them. Especially if other NATO countrys didnt match the level Canada has. I only ordered cus its thru Amazon, presumably i can get my money back if it isnt delivered by a set date.

Fair enough. Everyone has their own outlook on it. I dont quite view Belarus on the same level as Russia rn. Havent seen news that they have actually acted militarily yet. I see many Ukrainian refugees are actually fleeing to Belarus so that says something in itself. I dont want to support Putin and his Regime. I want it to collapse at the hands of Russians and only Russians. But i also dont want to blanket that entire race with blind hate. I aint about to burn my Soviet gear and smelt my Soviet guns lol

Hopefully buying a Belarusian optic wont play a part in propping up Putin and his war effort. Haha

russian troops invaded ukraine from belarus (using belarus territory to invade a country if this is not support what it is lol) but you re right to each his own. and im coming from that part of the world ...or roughly lol ...

There are numerous reasons for Russia's military operation in Ukraine. By your standard you'd have to boycott all Canadian products because Canada's entire military history has been going abroad to kill people in other countries.

no, it doesnt say something in itself. you took 18,000 out of 4.3 million (april 6th) refugees to prove your point? really? thats crazy!!!

they could be ethnic russians, there are 12 million in ukraine but regardless who they are, all they want is to get away from the fightings and bombings.

Where are Ukraine's refugees going? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-60555472

The UN says that as of 6 April, more than 4.3 million people have left Ukraine:

Poland has taken in 2,514,504 refugees
Romania 662,751
Hungary 404,021
Moldova 401,704
Russia 350,632
Slovakia 304,983
Belarus 18,060

Not ideal id agree but the fact that they havent really gotten involved militarily yet despite Russias plea for help kindov shows a lot of the population also doesnt agree with the war. To me they kindov appear to be caught between Putin and a hard place.

Ironically countrys like China, India and many EU nations are the biggest help to Russia when it comes to the war because they are still supporting Putins economy. 30 somewhat billion dollars has been provided to Russia since the start of the conflict for energy in return...

you and i do not have the same standard but i do agree supporting putin is the best you can do ... anyway there is not that much canadian products to purchase in those days but if you re willing to support russian economy good on you but do not cry when time will come for them to do worst ...

just from EU it s a billion of euro a day for energy ... belarus and ukraine has more in common than we can think about but thinking the president of belarus is worried about what the population there is thinking is not knowing what the dictator he is lol ...

Cool. Why don't you come on over and we can sort it out on the battlefield? Just head towards Kharkiv and I'll let you know when you've gone far enough.

Yeah, so apart from the whole war of aggression difference, that's also not even remotely correct 😂

I went with RS Regulate which clamps onto a standard AK side rail. CTC supplies has the full length lower and pic rail upper in stock right now so check those out.

^ proved to be a GREAT recommendation. Held up perfectly through a few months of combat so far. Zero issues, great mount. Many thanks for the advice.

That PO3.5x21p luckily did arrive. And it did infact come from USA.

Super nice optic to look thru, but like all the pictures online suggest, it is massive, arguably too massive. I bought it to put on my Airsoft AK74, but i decided it looks slightly too huge. It will go on an Airsoft LMG instead. It would look super stupid on a small receiver firearm like the Type 81 LMG haha.

Kinda weird that this thread turned into a political s@#$fest. As someone who also has a lot of Eastern-bloc firearms, I also have to order from apparently now unsavory sources to get the gear I need. If your moral standard is to choose to not deal with anyone of a particular nationality because of that nation's adjacency to a particular regime, then fine. But don't act like a moral policeman just because another member bought a part from a random Belorussian dude on ebay.

is it "act like moral policeman" just becos i questioned someone action and disagree? would a moral policemen begin with "i personally would stay clear of those two countries" ... how is it any different with you making your opinion known?

Then you proceeded to start an argument about it. We as gun owners in this country have a tough enough time sourcing the stuff we need given the hostile climate. Not everything has to tie into political decision making. Not to mention, I've dealt with plenty of fantastic people from that corner of the world and will continue to do so. Individuals shouldn't be held responsible for the actions of a government.
