Whats the turn around for date of purchase to transfer looking like? Pistols

Naaaah. Shipping is going to take a while. Its why I asked "transfer" not shipped. I have no idea how many guns they're sold in the past 2 weeks but on June 6th I watched a few hundred of them go in a few hours so. I dunno.

I'm really only concerned about the transfer, if the Liberals Rush something but it's already transferred into your name there's nothing they can do, but if they put a halt on all transfers, well thatll suck for us but be utterly awful for the vendors.

Grabbed the last Sig P226 X-five special ops 9mm the morning after the announcement. I had been eyeballing it for a while, figured if I was ever going to be able to own one now is the only time.
Credit card will get paid back, but I doubt many dealers will be restocking anytime soon, if at all.

I live 10 minutes away from SFRC so once my transfer is approved I'll be waiting at their door.

That's not my perspective at all, but I can see how you might think that. I don't want to derail this thread, I'd be happy to discuss with you via PM if you like.

SFRC is one of the top tier operations in Canada, and I'll continue to support them whenever I can.
 
I'm in BC. Ordered a revolver from a store in Ontario on May 5th.
They sent in the paperwork the next day.
BC approved the transfer May 30th.
No shipment June 5th so I scanned my transfer to the store.
They said we now need scans of your PAL and DL.
(Odd. I have my transfer but ok, the date has passed)
Sent that to them the same day.
Still no shipment.
Hopefully soon.
That's my experience so far.
FYI it seems in BC that if you own more than 10 handguns or purchase more than some number a year that your transfers are reviewed manually now.

That's odd, and wrong on their part. Restricted firearms do not require scans of PAL/DL, that's part of the new rules for NR firearms only.

New laws PAl and dl are only for buying nr. No changes to restricted buying. Abd you bought before that came into place anyways….

Two transfers from two different stores. Quebec CFO. Both transfers started June 1st. Both completed Saturday June 11th. I'm surprised to see Quebec group two transfers from different stores together and have people doing weekend overtime.

SFRC, I purchased three handguns on three separate dates (6/6, 6/9 and 6/13). Would these all ship together or separately, assuming the transfers go through?

Scans of PAL and DL should only be needed for non-Restricted purchase. (I mean, the shouldn't be needed at all, but for Trudeau's new rule that came into affect May 18th)

I even asked a retailer here in Ontario when the checkout process for a restricted wanted me to check the "I agree to send scans of my PAL and Driver's licence".

They said not needed for restricted, but they are "recommending" I send them so they are on file in case I purchase a NR from them in the future.

I did not send them.
 
BC- ordered 2 guns separately on the May 27th and 30th. Got both the transfers back completed on the June 2nd. Both shipped out today. Thank you guys for doing everything you can. Got a call because like a doofus I put in store pick up for the second order lol. Cheers to everyone working on all these orders right now! Absolutely can’t wait to try out my first handgun at the range.

Small children looking at presents under the Christmas tree, hopefully everyone's patience will be rewarded. Just like growing herb, looking at them every day wont make them grow any faster.
