Thanks for this. I think I purchased the last G17.4 in the country - and it was the same price they were in the before times.
Some shops were sold out and a few days later got some stock. The distributors must have had a boatload of stock to be able to handle this situation.

Just to add some feedback re: Ronin and their stock status. I placed an order a little over a week ago for a pistol showing in-stock on their site. Last night I received an email stating they were short-shipped and didn't receive inventory of the model I bought. I feel confident I'm interpreting this as they're listing items in-stock on their site they may not physically have in their store.
The email did say they plan on receiving more inventory and that they did have other pistols in stock.
Coles notes: Probably best to phone/visit to verify exactly what they have physically vs trust their site.

Kudos to you for your post- too many folks here would've turned that into a "Ronin tried to screw me and here's why they suck" post instead of taking the situation with a grain of salt and offering reasonable advice. Thumbs up

Of note it looks like they are mentioning on their site if the item is in-stock or a pre-order. ��
Also of note, Cabela’s is sold out of the G17. I had one in my cart and didn’t event make it through the checkout!
A simple solution here is to not "pre-sell" at all. People are not trying to acquire toilet paper here. An item being listed and sold online should be clearly marked as "in stock".

Update: they shipped the barrel conversion out the next day and I've since received it, so they are legit.
