The Walther PDP SD Pro

Just so we are 100% clear, we have not received any PDP SD PRO pistols yet. Those who have paid a 100$ deposit are in batch 1, for which we had secured inventory from the importer, and which we expect to receive in August. The Importer has also indicated that we can secure more firearms. We'll be reaching out to Batch 2 orders to collect a deposit to secure the firearm when we get confirmation on exactly how many firearms we're receiving.

Would the batch 2 pre-orders arrive in a seperate shipment at a later day from the batch 1's then?

EH??

If you get a transfer started before any ban becomes law.....you're good to go.

You have to have the Serial #'s of the pistols in order to start a transfer. Unless they have paperwork on all the incoming pistols already - batch 1, 2 and maybe 3 (???), things won't start rolling until after the "freeze" starts. With this in mind, it may not even happen. Not trying to be a downer, just stating the facts.

Dang, what a c**ck tease this whole situation has been. I know they have no control over this, just unfortunate the supplier has dicked over the distributors month by month. Oh well, c’est la vie.

I’ve purchased a few pew pew dispensers because I don’t think the CPC will reverse the ban even if elected. I think that the LPC has strategically postponed the OIC AR-15 deadline for a 2023 fall election issue and they will market the ban as a step in the right direction and paint the CPC as the devil otherwise.

Yes, I know all this.......not sure why you directed your post at me. I was just stating facts as well.

Glad I bought the vanilla PDP over a month ago, still hasn't been approved by CFO but at least I will have a striker in my collection.

That may be wishful thinking. The pending regulation is clear. The CFO cannot authorize a transfer, except in limited circumstances. A reference number is useless.

I supposed we need clarification on what is meant by “a transfer gets started” because people maybe misinterpreting this

Once a transfer has been started by either a business or Private sale, it will still go through, even if a ban is passed into law.

As long as the Transfer was started BEFORE the Law comes into effect. The Transfer will go through.

Unless you know more then the Firearms Lawyers that have commented on this potential issue.
