Prophet River's Handguns and future shipments

Why does everyone pass on models in stock for the elusive mos. I have a few Glocks with optics and the only one with mos was a pita. Needed constant work and an aftermarket plate to solve the issues. All the milled ones were perfect.

There were lots of 17s for sale yesterday. The mos is a mounting system that is half assed at best and you pay more for. I dont get it. If you want a Glock then forget mos and buy any Glock you can find. There are probably like 100 left for sale in Canada over then next few days.

If you are desperately looking for an optic ready pistol because you cannot find anything then buy this. Mounting is better and the gun can be converted to other calibers, frames and slides. Lots of support and you can build new guns in Canada after the ban. https://store.prophetriver.com/sig-...ts-mod-poly-x-grip-320xf-320xf-9-bxr3p-r2-10/

If you want a Glock with an optic you cannot afford to wait anymore. Buy a Glock in stock if you can and have the slide milled. They sit lower, mount better and you still have a chance to can get them.

I haven't got my mos yet. Just happened to be instock at the time of a bit of panic buying. I'd suggest this as well or get a seperate slide milled. There is also C&H plates available. Or even the gen3s cause even the poly80 rmr cut slides will fit. Your going to most likely be changing the sights out so standard won't matter in the end if your going with a optic.

Mind if I ask what transfer times are like for you guys ie. when some of us might expect to start getting orders in? I'm more than patient, more so just curious!

I was shocked when I saw that they had Beretta M9A1 22LR. I had spoke to Clay and and couple of dozen other dealers a few years ago about getting one...I even emailed Stoeger directly to see if they would bring some in.....their answer was a firm no and never would.....I had ads up on here and many other gun sights looking for a used one with zero luck.....What a surprise to see these listed today.....I just had to order one, which I did......wife may start speaking to me again sometime next month I think.....but OH Well....the heart wants what the heart wants.
Thanks again Clay and staff for another great firearms purchase from you.

I know there is a thread for Ontario. Order today and you should get your transfer approved late in 2023 if they maintain the current pace.

Props to Clay and the PR gang.

Legends.

Been contemplating getting the M9A1. Why were you looking for it so long? Why do you love this particular model so much?

I have a Beretta M9A3 that I love.....I was going to buy a 92FS and an A1 eventually as well but that is never going to happen now, I just like Berettas and 1911's. They just fit my hand naturally and run pretty flawlessly. I was looking a long time for the 22 because there where none around for sale that I ever saw anywhere, and none being brought in by Stoeger.

Overall update:
We continue to work with several staff late into the evenings. We are getting organized and we are almost keeping up with transfers(a few hundred a day).
Do not be alarmed if your order is not updated- that comes later but we will get to it.
Overall, we still are finding stuff in the orders to add but we are running out of some we had a fair few of. We had a few Beretta performance and we add as we find them but we have now found the majority of them so it won't be long and we will run out of most products.
We do have more new ones to add and we still have Glocks here. There will be more variation in the Glocks but in many cases we only have a handful.
We know there are still decent numbers of G21 and G48 here but even those sell as quickly as we get them listed.
I doubt we have enough guns to really last another week. Of course there will be some more specialized guns but the ones selling very quickly will be gone in a few days.
The black ruger wranglers are down to single digits and the bronze are almost there too.

Debating buying a second G48 as a backup. I'm a sucker for a deal, and it's pretty much the only pistol left selling for nearly the same price as release day. Cool, single stack 9mm with the shortest barrel allowed in Canada. Good for shooters with medium to small hands. Stellar reviews. Overboard to have two? What was your justification?

LOL, are you in my head ?
That's exactly what I was thinking a couple minutes ago...

Reason why im not is im sitting on the m&p kit from earlier. Hopefully it was a good choice.

As has been said several times already we really appreciate all the work you guys are putting in. I've bought 2 pistols from you guys in the past week, and while I thought I was done if I get lucky enough to time it right for a G44 it will likely become a third. It's the only thing left that I would be interested in, and I'll only give you guys the business if we're fortunate enough to see any listed form you.
