Transfer Times

Sold 2 to the east coast last month, still waiting.
The east has slowed down to a crawl it seems.
They used to be under 5 business days out there.
 
I also purchased 2 guns:
July 1 T# 5958###
July 5 T# 5960###

There is almost 78000 transfers between us which averages to 2615 transfer being submitted per day.
Based on your calculation of 700 transfers per day then the processing time to get the transfers approved would be 4 months.
I am assuming that the number of transfers submitted has declined after the first week of June, but worst case scenario seems to be 4 months according to my calculations.

I also bought, private BC to private ON on June 6th. Number 5899###. I am also still waiting for the transfer. Seems the idea of going in order might be a little off???

ya Ive been noticing that too the numbers seem to be jumping around and not going strictly in order even if you discount call in guys. the private sales seem to get a sort of priority its made me wonder if thats because shops give refunds people may not ??
 
It would be interesting to track how Alberta and Saskatchewan are processing their transfers because they are the two who are not under the direct control of marco mendicino if I understand things correctly as if they receive federal funding they have to defer a lot of power to his office and if the province pays for their CFO they make their own decisions. Its no secret Alberta is about the fastest and most vocal against the new Bill C-21. just a thought

For what it is worth, can try but seen on other posts here that the Ontario CFO will not entertain calls to speed up and in fact they even sent out a letter advising of such. Advice was to contact provincial ombudsman or your MPP.

I considered myself as I am waiting for a private to private transfer as well from June 10. Unfortunately I am not thinking it will be anytime soon.
