I understand some people's frustration with the increase in pricing. With the governments short notice of the import ban the industry was forced to respond by flying guns in. The increased costs related to flying the guns in verses shipping by boat or truck is substantial. However, this was the only way we could get shipments into the country before the ban on the 19th. We felt it was better to bring them in at the higher price and allow you the consumer to decide if you want to purchase rather than bringing nothing in.
Quite frankly, people should stop lamenting about gun prices. If you don't like the price don't buy it. At least, they are giving the opportunity for someone to get a gun they want before its too late.
What is the difficulty in understanding the idea that a store has the ability to charge whatever they want.....and given this is a forum we should have the ability to say "wow....that price sucks". Wonder if they will delete this post too.....or......will someone respond back implying I think I'm entitled to something.
Going to repeat my earlier post that got deleted but this time I'll remove the comment about suggesting some other vendor who has better prices cause that will just send me up the "river" again. <------pun.
WM has a history from what I've seen. They did the same thing with powder. Jack up the price to see how much they can get someone to pay. Plain and simple. Not saying they're not allowed too. Just some consumers may want to know this fact.
The stores that listed with high prices only have one type of customers in their mind…..the desperate ones. I say no need to complain about the high prices, instead vote with your money and future business. But I understand people need place to vent.
Some people on here: "You need to bring in more guns before the freeze! Do whatever it takes!"
Vendors: "I'll do whatever it takes!" (spends exorbitant amounts to ship air freight to meet the deadlines)
Same people on here: "You're charging too much! We want the old prices!"
