Dear valued customers,

The recent changes in Federal policy have led to a significant increase in the volume of calls to the store. These calls are mostly related to changes in legislation or inquiries on recent handgun purchase delivery status.

As of right now, the Ontario CFO is still processing transfers submitted on June 1st

We ask you to please be patient as calling either the CFO or our store will only cause further delays in processing the many many orders we have to deal with right now.

Are you able to give an update on this post? Just saying the same thing, what approximate date they are currently at for processing? That way us who are waiting just get a bit of an idea. Thanks.
 
If this helps. I bought a handgun from them on June 1. CFO sent me the email I can pick it up July 28.
I bought 2 other handguns from 2 other dealers on June 5 and 6 and have get to receive anything from the CFO for those.

And I have still NOT received my actual registration certificate from the RCMP yet.
 
Panic buying with the best of you all, starting May 31-ish. I haven't heard a single word from Ontario CFO for *anything* I've bought from *any* vendors. You are not alone. We are all just throwing thousands of dollars into the wind and hoping for the best. Nerve wracking to say the least. At this rate, I'm just hoping they make it in time for going under the xmas tree!
 
Quick question regarding the transfers - if I purchased a firearm from you guys am I supposed to see the application for transfer on the RCMP individual web services website once the business has entered it? Or is that only visible for private transfers?

No you wont if its restricted and the portal has be a #### show even for non restricted but you should of got a transfer notification for those

What about restricted rifles? I purchased one and was assured twice that I'd be emailed a transfer number later that day but I was not. I called the next day and was told the transfer has been started but that my rifle is up high on a shelf (what? The transfer info is taped to the box and not recorded elsewhere?) and "sir, please be patient and trust the process" lol no, I don't think I will.
 
Wrong, a reference number is confirmation that the transfer has started. Tenda sold me a gun, thought the transfer was initiated, when I called in for the number, turns out it was out of stock and not in store.

Also if cfo is on day 7, and your gun was initiated on the first you have a reference number to address the case..
 
You don’t need a reference number when a dealer initiate a transfer. Useless and a waste of time for everybody.

we have trust issues, already two of my firearms were transferred into wrong names in the past 2 months, if I didn't catch it who would?

So it is definitely not a waste of time
