My memory says Lee, Lyman, and Sierra all have reloading data for the 7.62x25 Tokarev in them. Before Hodgdon took over, I emailed Western Powders asking for load data and they gave me a bunch of data.

I use 13gr of Win 296,win SP primer,Starline brass an a 86gr SP or 90gr HP out of a Polish TT-33 and get nickle sized groups at 15 yards off bags.

JUST found a Hornady seating die for .30 luger. It's in the mail. Picked up some 85 gn powder coated bullets from Prairie Projectiles yesterday to test them out when they get here. Looking forward to trying this again.

Why not use the proper seating die? I'm curious what advantage there supposedly is here

I use .30 mauser CH dies to load 7.62x25

I use .30 mauser CH dies to load 7.62x25

+1, 30 Mauser and 7.62x25 cases are identical in dimensions, I use the Mauser dies as well for loading for the C96 and the Yugo M57.

.30 Luger is not the same as .30 mauser[7.62x25]

The Hounds Den has the Lee die set in stock (as does Tenda but more expensive there). X-Reloads have the factory crimp die.

there's s new youtube video on reloading these its pretty indepth going over different powders and ballistics well over my head actually made me rethink getting into reloading lol there's a lot more going on than putting powder into a case lol

It's the same as any other pistol cartridge with a 3 die set except carbide is not an option with the bottle neck case. Win 296/H-110 is the powder for jacketed.

You can get similar speed without ridiculous flash using other powders. H110 works ok but using 13+grn charges makes a lot less sense than 7-8grns of other powders.

Especially ridiculous when I get 1/2 " groups. I have lots of powder.
