.410 shot shells shortage

I am just glad I kept my reloading gear for shotshells instead of selling it. Had a feeling another shortage would come around. Wasn’t worth it to reload regular shells with the price of factory loads being cheap but when you can’t find any having the choice to reload sure helps cover the supply problem. I figure I have enough primers to cover two years of hunting. I should be able to find more primers by the time I run out.

Bunch of 28 gauge shells here that I only sold a few boxes of at our gun show.
Maybe I’ll store them ahh whilst lawnger and sell them piece meal.
Never know, they could fetchith three bucks a shell soon.

Act fast:

Ok I'm not an alarmist... but 3 months ago. No issues.... there was stock around. But this weekend... I looked and came up empty handed. It's bleek for the 410 grouse gun. Glad I have 8 boxes for the season. Hope Supply gets better. 20 GA is looking bleek as well.....

Components are also hard to come by. I had bought a MEC jr to start reloading and sold it as I couldn't get any components ;-(

Maybe one day I'll get into it.

My son's school is right down the road from a hunting store. Last year, he missed the bus quite a few times and I had to give him a ride to school. Everytime, I'd stop buy the hunting store and pick up a box or two of .410 2.5" #7. Glad I stocked up although, I think they still have a few boxes left (although prices have gone up).

When you see a caliber you own at any store, buy 3 or more boxes.
You may not need it now, but you will later.

Ammo. shelves at local stores are quickly becoming bare again.
Whenever I place an online order I always add 3 or 4 boxes of ammo., It adds to the bill, but it's the only way to build up a decent inventory
