Whats THE Ruger No.1 You Just Gotta Have?

It's completely insane. If they win this fight and are allowed to used this rationale what is stopping them from banning other items once the precedent has been set? Take cars for example. We have maximum speed limits. What happens if they decide that IN THE NAME OF PUBLIC SAFETY all cars capable of exceeding the speed limit are to be banned? Your car may be 20 years old and on it's last legs but if the speedometer goes higher than the speed limit it is therefore deemed capable of breaking the law. Scary times folks. I hate to say it but I believe this country is actually turning Communist, with boy blunder leading it down the drain.
 
Fired a couple in 303 British. Quite liked them, but I continue to be partial to bolt action rifles.

well the same can be said to any firearms since the first ban, that proposal is not different it is just impacting a different population that was thinking not my turn ... gun banners will never stop.
 
The WEF has already stated the average citizen does not need a personal vehicle but is better served by mass transit ,taxis and bicycles.What they mean by average citizen is the non elite.They also have stated that the average citizen does not need a house and would be better served living in an apartment.The average citizen does also not need many of today’s luxuries as they are wasteful and hard on our planet ,please give up your stuff so the Elite can enjoy theirs in peace.Removing guns from society is only the dry run for the real bad things that will come after.The youth of today need to open their eyes because this is the world they will inherit .

Even if the Heym name is on the receiver, doesn't that make it a "variant"?
They named the Mauser, and Weatherby, so what bolt action isn't a "variant" to be banned later?
Even mentioned the Westley, although made in the 1870's, that's already an "antique", so isn't a firearm!
 
The .460 Weatherby Chambered No.1 is the Only No.1 listed on the FRT as prohibited. Same as the “Mauser” Sporter chambered in .460 etc. All the Westley Richards and various other Safari type rifles are the .460 chambered rifles, they aren’t new to the list and have been there since 2020.

I’d be pleased to take care of any and all No.1s if people aren’t comfortable reading the legislation and don’t want to take the “risk”. I’m serious. Don’t want to keep your No.1 send it to me and I’ll take excellent care of it.

Yup, your so positive that the ban is BS, you will buy any and all No.1's @ $2000 a pop... oh, you want them for free? You mean so you can't lose anything...
