New Release - Marlin 1895 Guide Gun

There are a few Ruger/Marlins for sale on Gun-Post, they range from $2700.00 - $4000.00.

I don't see the pre-owned rifles getting any cheaper.

If the demand increases, so will the pre-owned cost.

Finding one at your favorite dealer is the key to success.

The problem is Ruger/Marlin cannot keep up with demand......:(

Congratulations to all those who were lucky enough to find their unicorn!

Sadly, I need to keep my SBL scoped to use it as I like to...and the loss of handiness is very noticeable with that gun. Putting a scope on an even shorter one would be even more sacrilegious.

Maybe an Aimpoint on a Trapper? I mean, come on...it's already in stainless, with a laminate stock...the "classic" ship has sailed.

What are you running for a scope? I’m thinking an aim point on a SBL would be very handy. I’ve got a Leupold vx3 ultralight which is about 10 oz which is my other alternative when I find an SBL.

Love the look of the trapper too and the shorter length, but the sights and the rail on the SBL work way better for me.

I typically keep a 2.5x Leupold on it.

I also have a Leupold variable scout scope and an Aimpoint Micro set up for it in QD mounts; swapping back and forth, even with the Weaver rings on the 2.5x, usually gets me back within 1 MOA of original POI; plenty good enough for a .45-70.

I laughed when Marlin originally introduced stainless/laminate leverguns; now this is one of my favourite rifles. :)

That is some kinda awesomeness right there. Thx for sharing.

You just like to argue don’t you lol
Must have no one in your life that cares about your opinion.

I was just posting to let people know they were currently available if they were quick, what is there to argue about that? Doesn’t matter where they were for sale, they were retail.

Turns out I could have been wrong about siwash? But I’m 100% positive about cabelas, and I doubt my hunting buddy would lie about getting one and he said north pro.
The guy at north pro said they had a couple or 3 in. I can’t remember because I was as excited as a kid at the fair and was hearing but not listening lol

Hey John,

How did you get the picture up straight?

Mine always seem to turn or worse, go upside down......:(

Nice pic.

Nice pic.

Beats me! Mine turn out sideways sometimes, never upside down...I see that and go in and rotate the pic and save the new version...and then check the ad and the dang thing is still sideways.

This one would have actually been okay sideways; I'm sure that's why it didn't come out that way. :)

Congrats sir.
That’s at least 3 then, 2 north pro and 1 cabelas.
Lady on phone at cabelas said check back often as they are frequently getting cancellations and declined transfers and the gun goes back up immediately.

One would think the administration would be able to figure out this silly issue.

I have tried all the tricks other members say to do, NOPE, always go sideways.

Very annoying in this supposed high-tech world we live in.......:(
