IPSC Canada has been blessed by a large quantity of slots (60) for the World Shoot in Bali this year, enough that I think that I can say that anyone who wants to go can go with a good chance that I'll be correct. Naturally, if we get more shooters than slots we will revert to the IPSC Canada Ranking System described on IPSC Canada's web page.
You should be aware of any political issues in Indonesia (the Internet can fill you in) and that you will be required to lock your gun in an armory each night while on premises and that generally, this trip is going to cost each person somewhere in the vicinity of $4000 to $5000.

The dates are approx. Oct 26 – Nov 2.
Once you have weighed this information and decided that you want to go, contact your section coordinator (NOT ME!!!) and let them know and provide them with a $60 deposit for your slot.
The deadline for contacting your section coordinators is February 22nd. (Yes, you have to be an IPSC member to go) I will be collecting their lists the weekend of the 23rd/24th and letting the region of Indonesia know who's going the following week.
Should you have any questions about the event, post them here, and I'll try to answer them - but please, let's not get into any #####ing and whining about location, costs, armories, etc. Let's keep this one to information and facts and maybe who's going. You can start your own thread for the complaints.
I've attended the WS in South Africa, Ecuador and the Philippines. I know that it is the event of a lifetime for anyone who shoots IPSC and this may be a great chance to experience it. There is a chance that the next WS may be in the USA and I can guarantee you that for that one, our slots will be sold out immediately, even if we get 200!!!
