Has anyone heard of or has read about the new Henry Semi Auto Carbine in 9mm, a great contender for the pistol caliber carbine market that is becoming more popular with the price of rifle ammo going up dramatically each year, the price of 9mm luger can still be had for about 40 cents a shot.

Will we get this soon? I hope so, lets keep an eye out for it. It's a good looker to start.

Sweet looking little rig. The “boxy” action reminds me a little of the lines of the classic Browning Bar. Hard to beat out the Ruger PC9 on basic function and reliability though. Would be amazing to see it in 10mm or 45 ACP to add a little more punch for a hog gun.

It does look like a "Baby BAR" as fuzzy39 said above. I see an ambi-safety, ambi-mag releases, and a switchable charging handle so as a southpaw it meets my operational approval. With the barrel mounted solidly to the threaded for mounts receiver accuracy should be possible. I'm loving the wood furniture for sure.

I like the styling and simplicity but I think the Ruger PC 9 mm carbine might be a better value dollar for dollar.

That’s a nice looking gun. Pump version might be a better bet considering the current political climate in Canada.

no.

Anyways, did they censor the suppressor tightening? The suppressor itself isn't censored, but tighten the can 2mm is on the same level as ### or violence?

I would be interested but I would like to see a field strip disassembly video. As we all know some firearms can be a pain to take down. Nothing beats my prohibited CZ Scorpions ease of takedown but its too scary to take out of the safe.

Would 9mm be a good hunting caliber? Fill a void between 22 and 308. Does such a void exist. Is 9mm legal for deer. Just trying to see what the interest is for a 9mm rifle.

There is no "void" between 22LR and 308Win. There are many options for intermediate power cartridges.

9mm out of a carbine fits a pretty small niche for use on game (and probably not permitted everywhere), but some people use it for hunting deer. It's certainly most popular for plinking, but also an option for pest control for some.

The 9mm is legal for Big Game in BC, I'd rate it higher than buckshot with the proper ammo of course. Plinking, skunks, raccoons, up to <50 yard deer is where I'd put it.

Kids love them because low recoil and bigger bang than a 22.

As a hunting rifle I'd take a 223 or SKS any day over a 9mm Carbine though.
