So this is a FEG KGPF 9mm, semi-auto "Sub-machine gun". (Restricted or Non-restricted class)

Anyone know:

-How many were imported
-Who imported
-What year was import
-Original sale price
-Current market value

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks.

My honest impression of the one that I handled back in the day (2000-ish) was that it was cheap, sheet-metal junk. All metal, terrible ergos with a single-strut Stock and an unusally short Sight Radius. A bit of AK-style manufacturing combined with some Uzi design cues to produce a sheet-steel abomination with a Telescoping Bolt system. The price was under $1K, $799 rings a bell.

I seen one on the EE back in tha day. Pretty rare but you can get a mo betta gun if you got like three racks.

Last time I saw one was a few years back it was $3500 but did have something like 11 mags with it. Total I think ive only seen them pop up maybe 3-4 times in the last decade.

IIRC they were not allowed to be exported from Hungary with the factory black plastic horizontal Forend or the factory pistol grip. I remember when they were coming in they were outfitted with AK pistol grips and the hand guard removed, but you can see the hole where it would have bolted on in the video. Price as noted above was @$800, was going to get one but I wanted it in the full factory configuration. Disappointing at the time.
