PURELY A HYPOTHETICAL SENERIO

If you found yourself in an urban firefight with armed drug dealers, what handgun, that you currently own would you want to have?

I would take my GLOCK 17, I have shot it lots and shoot it well, I totally trust it. With 4 loaded mags I have plenty of ammo to make a stand with. I love my new 686 and with hot loaded 357 mag ammo I’m sure it’s a real stopper but I am totally inaccurate when shooting double action and it “loads a might slow” compared to an auto.
 
Only an armed drug dealer would get into an urban shootout with other armed drug dealers......are you trying to tell us something?

All I am really asking is you were to find your self in a combative situtaion involving handguns which of your handguns would you choose to have.

never happen- 99% of us can't carry-as for if we could, i would go old school-10 inch barreled 9mm uzi in a mac scatter under the suit coat- and the 32 round mags- as for collateral damage, these things are not a bullet hose, as i chewed the "ear" of a b-27 target at 25 yards with one back in the day, using factory ammo and the proper mounting
 
Once I get a chance to try it out and get accustomed to it, I'd probably want my S&W M&P .40 ... Until that time, my grab-and-go pistol is my Glock 22. If I could just have 30 round mags for it, my VZ58 would kick ass in an urban firefight.
 
Glock 22 here too - hypothetically, that is! However, in a hypothetical situation like that, I'd want to have my Benelli M4 with my Glock 22 for CQB - just in case.
 
My neighbor is a Gang Unit Detective, so I do sometimes worry about a revenge motivated home invasion or drive by on the wrong house. But in a hypothetical world........

Glock 22....K.I.S.S. pistol in my opinion.
 
Guys - this is a the handgun forum and about a "what if" scenario involving handguns, sheesh.

Bringing shotguns and semi auto rifles into things is a entirely different scenario.

I know this is NEVER going to happen to any of us; but! Sometimes, myself and others I'm sure, find it interesting to indulge in specific "what if" conversations.

I think the most effective handgun is whatever Steven Segal used in his last film. IN the past, I used whatever Charles Bronson was last carrying. Anything that Chuck Norris uses is good, as well.
 
please educate me noob - what is mal ninja? Male ninja maybe? Answering your question I would bring nasty looking BB gun and act like I am John Rambo's big brother. If it doesn't work I would proly try outrun their bullets...
