Good chance down the road , lead is gone . Are you ready. For your rifle and hunting

TTSX

Copper , federal
Gmx
Norma

or a few others not listed .
Will you be happy going to mono's only ? It could happen

I haven't tried Mono's. Mostly because I don't want to help push along a use case for removing lead core ammunition. Can you imagine how little ammunition would be coming into this country if they actually banned lead in bullets? It would be wild to see shelves just empty and all we are left with are a few brands of ever pricier copper based lines from a few manufactures.

With our current corrupt Federal Liberal Government, that is most possible in the future. Although I dislike monolithic bullets, they are environmental friendly, than any type of lead bullet. Currently, I would choose the Hammer Bullet, however, most dubious that they would not perform such as the cup and core.

Copper bullets are the cheapest premium bullets going

They won't be if they are the only thing available. Take out the much larger market of lead bullets. And you'll shrink the market, creating a higher demand for fewer goods. Increasing the cost. Obviously as more countries do this the cost goes down as companies start building out their different brands with them. But until that happens the price would just increase.

you right there Rib's

I don’t doubt lead will become a thing of the past at some point.
Don’t give the powers that be any encouragement!!!!

About 5 years after lead free projectiles become mandatory I bet solid copper, brass, and bronze slugs will be banned because they penetrate body armor and steel too easily.

They won't, they'll perform much better.

Yup, no need to ban firearms, just stop all ammunition and reloading components from coming into the country.
Stock up now...
