I also lost my 3 while checking out.
System should hold items for 5 min. To allow checkout.
Current system is like taking things out of people's shopping cart at home Depot, Canadian Tire checkout line,

they did give tips about how to check out, basically you should never try for more than 1 thing at once in these sales. in some ways I think that's good, as it distributes the sale items amongst a larger group of people

PR has posted the best tips for success.
One other tip is copy the item code from their list in their post and hit crtl F and paste it.

Fastest way to get out for payment is pay by EMT. This is on top of this copy and pasting the code part which helps a ton on speed. I practiced finishing the cart about 5x about 10 minutes before the sale started to be sure I wouldn't snag up on anything and that my profile in the login was complete.

However the rules are the same for everybody , and lets remember no doubt lady luck plays into it a little . In todays times just to have an opportunity to get a deal is exciting . Thank you Prophet River

The tips certainly do apply to all.

People with dial up internet didn't stand a chance.

Many people were excluded from the fun, at least I had a chance.

It's still like someone walking past your shopping cart at the checkout at the supermarket and grabbing items from it while your waiting to pay.

Rules aren't always fair, for those that work in jobs where they can't access the internet whenever they please I'm sure it was disappointing.

A Saturday sale would be an idea to be able to include more people.

Was a good day none the less as I did pick up something from another manufacturer while logged into my account

We have no choice in this - our software that the website is built on only allows this method.
Regardless, its a race either way- either to check out or to place it in the cart.

Many thanks to all our clients, many got awesome deals and we hope most had fun trying whether successful or not. We certainly appreciate the orders!!

We will plan to do another once Vortex Canada has enough product!

That's one thing I've found frustrating, great company, I've made a couple purchases, they support the Shawn Newman podcast, but man, their website needs an overhaul.

Just curious what is selling faster ? Low end (Crossfire / Diamondback) scopes or high end scopes (Razor) ?

We are launching a new website soon. We've been saying that for few months now- the third party developers are being slower than what was promised.

Seems to be a bit of both- no real pattern when it comes to that. Often A's will sell before B's and C's though.

They have done this event many times. This is the first time I actually got what I was hoping to get. Why do people have to come on here and whine about missing out. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose
