More game is killed every fall with factory ammo vs reloads. Picking up a couple hundred fps is nice. A Barnes bullet is nice. But completely unnecessary for killing most big game here imo. Lots of people shoot “junk”, I’m one of them, but posting hunting rifle groups at 100 yards is nothing more then feeling good about your gear, and has little to do with killing.

Spruster, here are most of the targets I’ve shot with this particular barrel. I can pull a lot better groups out of there for pictures. The one I posted was just the last one I shot a week ago. But again, accuracy wasn’t the point.

No one having called factory ammo bad or saying you cant kill game with it oddly doesn't seem to matter lol

I get that there’s a lot of trolling going on here but this is probably the silliest comment I’ve seen in a while. Factory ammo is better than it used to be and can be good sure. But the idea that it’s flat out better than handloading is just absurd.

You can learn to use existing gear much more effectively if you handload.

Not just paper. That is a simplistic view.

You can become a better shooter and increase your knowledge of firearms, bullet performance and ballistics by handloading.

This may or may not interest you, it's really up to the individual to decide what direction they want to pursue.

Spruster, if you’re going to post claims like this please back them up with evidence.

We get posters such as yourself every so often. Most are long gone. Most posts are trolling for a response, looking for an argument, yet you have nothing to back up your statements. And never do.

This is CanadianGunnutz, do you think most here are full of it and you’re the expert? Come on man, time to back up some of your posts. Or move on.

Not sure what I missed but got an unsolicited out of the blue pm from him last night saying Pathfinder put me in my place again so what was I gonna do about it?

Half bottle too much?, it's ok, I have the odd runaway too lol.
