Pics of grouping? I just ordered one!

It's coming. Unfortunately we just haven't had the time to hit the range and shoot some proper groups from a sled and something other than 6 MOA red dot. What I can tell you is for steel challenge the 12.5" is amazing. Super light weight and has great balance. Switching to it took 0.25s on average off my times.

Is something like CCI Blazer ok to use with this barrel with the tighter bentz chamber?

I use CCI Blaser with my new barrel and it works very well.

I have about 400 rounds thru my new shorty 10/22 for the steel challenge and it has been flawless and accurate. No failure to feed or extract. It installed easily also.

I cleaned it during the 'break in' period and it is very smooth.

I like mine a lot.

I put one of these 12.5” on my 10/22 and boy is it nice. So compact and handy. Put a linear compensator just to direct the noise forward and it’s still short and handy. Just awesome for a little bush hunting rifle and it fits in a pack nicely.

It fires the 40 grains grey-box Blazers just fine. Never tried the other ones.

What's the accuracy like on the 12.5s? Can you still get 1/2" at 50yards?

I haven’t had the chance to put enough rounds through it yet to present a valid accuracy review. At this point it was easy enough to 1” pine ones at 50 yards while leaning against a tree. But that’s not scientific enough to provide a true range test.

When I do a real range test I’ll put my results on here. In order to do that I need to give it the full chance to perform - proper rest, proper targets, and various lazered ranges, and some rifle specs for context. I’ll report after that happens. For 22 small game hunting at bush ranges I’d never choose to go back to a full length barrel though for future purchases.

Thanks for the update! I'll be watching for the results later 😊
