+++ February Purchases +++

mein februar kauf

Hallo Kameraden,

mein Februar erwerb ist eine Walther P-38 oder P1. Die pistole ist ex -Bundeswehr. Stemple einschlag "BW". Leider muss ich bis Mittwoch warten biss ich sie abholen darf.

Zu meiner Zeit als Obergefreiter habe ich diese pistole 24 stunden am tage getragen. Als ich sie hier bei der Shooting Edge sah musste ich sie haben.

English translation: My purchase for Februar is a Walther P-38 or P1. The Pistol is x Federal Defence Force. Stamped BW. Unfortunately I will have to wait till Wednesday before I am allowed to pick it up.

During my time as Corporal I carried this pistol 24/7. When I saw it here at the shooting edge I had to have it.

Cheers

I managed to find something I have been looking for at the Ancaster gun show this morning. Here are the pics.

Oh yeah. Does anyone know where I might find one of the original cleaning rods and accessories for one of these?

Here's my new Enfield - It's a Brit No4 MkI. Anyone know anything about it? I bought it off of here for a pretty good price (I believe) - $350.

It has matching numbers. The buttpad is kinda a painted black that flakes off easy. Barrel is a 5 groove and it's like a mirror!

EDIT: Dude... is it totally necessary to quote an entire line of pictures on the same page?

Gorgeous Enfields guys!

Very nice wood and finish on both of them!

Makes me wish I had more money right now. I'm getting the itch again.

Ross Mk III. Beautiful action, perfect bore, Indian DP'd wood(at least there's no Ishy screw). This was high on my list. The sling is just something I put on it, anyone have a Ross sling they'd sell?

My god, where did you find that?!?!!!

With great difficulty...waited a while to boot. But it's a beauty, very happy with the grab. :dancingbanana:

BTW, the source of this one has another one. It has shinyish wood that has been extended and a polished reblued action, but it's full length with all the parts and has a very nice bore. Ask me and I'll put you in touch if interested. Not so easy to find full length ones and it could serve till a more untouched one comes along. It's a very pretty rifle actually but you have to deal with proofs that have been largely polished off. The wood looks very nice, better than I'd expected.

No worries. It just makes it easier on the 56k people, and on the fingers, so people don't have to scroll a mile down the page.

Beautiful Ross Cantom!

I'll be on the look out for one, one of these days...

And remember...SIZE your pics so they fit on MY screen....its all about me:)

That's a damn good trade off. Especially if you live in a neighborhood where you can walk between 2 houses, stretch out your arms and touch both at the same time.
And Klunk, just for you, I will never ever quote with pictures ever again. :D

Very purdy! Something that just landed in my head - what's the dif between the No4 Mk1, No4 Mk1* and No4 Mk2??? Been wondering that for a while, though knowing it may mean I'll need to get two more...
