With M&P becoming the new Glock I had to add a personal touch to my gun  I actually did this a month ago but didn't have a camera...

Never liked the beavertail so it's gone! Also added a little bling for the Equinox look.

What do you guys think?

I polished it with sandpaper :)

it actually looks better than pics show (2nd pics doesn't do it justice) it has more of a chrome look to it.

IMO now the gun looks better and it's a little smaller (sanse beavertail) ;)

Thanks guys!

I've shot it after the beavertail mod and there was no difference in terms of handling! Maybe if I had huge meaty hands (or the gun was more powerful), but with my (medium) hands/grip it makes no difference.

I have a friend that is capable of fanatic metal polishing, it is a ridiculous chore but in the end you can make stainless look nicer than chrome. My buddy can make aluminum look nicer than chrome as well, the right grade is actually surprisingly robust too. He says stop signs are made out of an unusually high quality of stuff... ;)

That is a sweet looking M&P, for sure. Unique +10 bonus!

*For those who wanted to know about the beavertail removel; I used a couple of files at first (wood and metal once), than gave a dramel a try, but what I should've done was just sawed it off - would've saved an hour  than I moved on to emery cloths (150 & 400) than finished it off with sandpaper (600 & 1500).
