Actually I was thinking of the other one. The one you were thinking of was more like a valmet and needed to be improved to become a Krieghoff.
I'll just bet your the hit of every party

Finn Classic 512S: a gun called also "transformer" or "System" for a lot of options offered for this model. A project that has its origin from the famous Tikka Valmet 412S (that our Company produced for Sako for many years long) and that is now our sole brand.
I don't know what to make of it either. There's a Valmet on the EE with barrels apparently made by Marocchi. I know Marocchi made guns for several other brands including Winchester.I owned a Valmet Lion which was made in Finland by Valmet same as the 412's I've seen. Not sure about the Marocchi connection.
What price would it retail at? The 101 Belgian assemled one? I bet it won't be cheap.

Well the old Winchester 101 wasn't far off that description either. The "new Winchester 101" is a basic Browning Citori with the Winchester on it. Shame! Shame! Shame!![]()
The Winchester 101 and the Classic Doubles are decent guns but do you consider them "American" when they were made in Japan?US made O/U's ... the 32 was indeed a good one, and in some of it's "final" forms ( the Winchester 101's) ... the " Classic Doubles " O/U in various forms was a pretty decent gun as well.

I think BB knows where the Winchester 101 and CD guns were made. But it raises an intesting point about how American gun makers have often failed in their attempts to build an o/u on their own turf. Despite Winchester's success with the Model 21 when it came to an o/u they had them made in Japan, Italy and Spain. Remington gave up the 32, then abandoned the 3200 and the o/u that came subsequently aren't worth discussing.I think ya got him there CB.![]()
