An idea, feel free to run with if you think it is good and you are a maker. Could you 3D print a removable shell to sit over the folding stock, with a proper cheek rest and perhaps increased length of pull? Kind of like those shells to turn a pistol into a stocked PDW. Thoughts?

I own a 3D printer and had the exact same idea today lol. I’ll try to make your idea once I get my folder and perhaps even just a solid stock that will fit into the folder holes, if possible.

Cool! Having something that could get a better cheek weld and shoulder contact would be good for bench shooting and two/three gun, but you could go back to pure folder when backpacking or LARPing.

Ya, the folding stock on the type 81m has quite the slope to it. Alot of ak folding stocks are more straight.
