Yes, shortly after ordering I received an email with the subject line "Order Confirmation No:#####".
 
People in the 268* range has yours shipped yet?
I bought an lmg before the release of 81m's and that order was at 264***, realized the under folders were in so I messaged sales to cancel the first order. They told me to make a second order with what I wanted and that order fell in the 268*** area. Now since I had this adjusted I don't know if I fall behind everyone else. I'm patiently waiting but curious to see if I need to call in and make sure everything is good still

Yes you will receive e-mail with your order confirmation no. And you can log in to their website and check your order information on your account.
 
I have seen pictures of AK butt stock pads previously used on Type 81 side folders and fixed rifles attached to an AK underfolder. Can someone who gets an Type 81 M underfolder and has such a pad try it and let us know of it fits? Between the AK cheek riser someone posted earlier and the buttpad, it might provide an inexpensive way to increase the shooting comfort of the underfolder.

So I unboxed and was happy with what I received. Slight scratch on the dust cover but doesn't bother me. Pistol grip was a bit loose but fixed that in 10 secs. It appears the finish on the gun is parkerized and not blued. Wasn't covered in heavy grease like the other type 81's I've purchased. Barrel appears straight. Only thing I could've figure out was how to remove the gas tube. Seems its different on this gun then the usual. There are quite a few changes from other type 81's.

Bolt carrier is parkerized black.
The recoil spring appears to be different.
Receiver has sharp edges where you remove the spring. Watch your fingers!
Does come with a cleaning kit.
 
Can’t even Imagine how busy TI must be with all these orders. Be patient people it could take many days to get these orders out the door.

I think there has been a couple on here. There is a few on Facebook “Type 81 Canada”. I got my underfolder today. I’m happy with it, but to be honest, I still like my SE side folder more.
