What rifle do you wish they had made?

Mmm, I like your imagination.

And I yours.;)

I recently saw an ad for one just like you want, I believe it was factory built but I imagine it is long gone. If it wasn't for the current rifle search I am on right now she might be hanging out in my safe right now.

As for mine, I have heard vague rumors of one living in BC but it would be the only one I have heard of. I plan to build one some day, perhaps I will just design the band aids myself.

Noel, I believe that it would financially viable for CZ to do a run of Model 21's and ZG47's, certainly I would buy a couple....one can only dream !

I'd like to have a Parker Hale 1200 Varmint (the one with the heavy barrel) in .308. As far as I know they never made a heavy barrel PH in .308...but I'd sure like to have one! :D

Right now I'd like to see a Model 7 stainless, synthetic(a decent stock) in .338 Federal.Maybe it could even have a mid weight fluted barrel.:D
Scott

I'd give my left n*t for a Ruger RSI with 20 inch barrel (18.5" looks a little off to my eye) maybe chambered for the new RCM cartridges (although 7x57 would be my sentimental choice) or a Kimber 84/8400 similarly configured. I love the look of the Model 7 MS, just not a real fan of the action (I'm a CRF kind of guy).
A CRF 338-06 - M70, M77, M8400, I'm not picky.

Cheers

i'd like to see the TAVOR in 308- and set up for 180 grains - there used to be a 308/12 guage thing called the crossfire, but i heard it was full of bugs- debugged, then one of those , please

i didnt mean make the stock out of stainless, smartass :slap:
:D:D

why would a stainless 870 weigh 11 pounds more than a carbon one?

A full stainless 870 would add about 2lbs or more to current model. The reciever, magtube, barrel and assemblies would weigh more in stainless steel than current materials...
No smartass, just denser metal and the barrel would have to be thicker than most current sporting barrels, thats all.
Shotgun barrels are pretty hard compared to most rifle barrels.

ok, but 18 pounds? LOL
only if it were one of those pimped out impractical mall ninja/zombie builds :)

A Pre-64 M70 fwt in 257 Roberts and 7X57. A mannlicher stocked model with 21" barrel would be okay too!

And how about a #1S in 300H&H? They made a limited run, but just try and find one.
