All-New: Type 81M

Its not a secret, I guess its possible im the first person to use a credit card to purchase a legal firearm.

LOL I requested a chargeback when I was sold a very clearly used firearm that was passed on as new. My CC company ruled in my favor as the vendor would not respond (as has not to this date , some 5 months later ). In the end, I paid $0 and get to keep the product as the company failed to respond. CC companies do not care what you purchase.

Sigmaco came through! Part is unfinished but I am sure I can spray paint it to match the finish on the 81m. Zhukov stock will look much better than the bent chicom wood one. 20240409_111400.jpg

So much for TI's promise "10 guys are working hard and it will be different this time" - actually, it was never as bad as this and Nick always answers that the email landed in some junk folder, lol. Even during normal times the responses and service are not good. I get always the feeling that there is some kind of communication confusion between Nick, Zac and Henry.

The bottleneck is with warehouse, but we are pushing as best we can! The problem is that this shipment is 4x larger then normal, it is the entire production run, not split into 4 seperate shipments as usual. The good news is that it gives everyone the chance to pick one up, vs just selling out in 24 hours and then having to wait 6-12 month or paying x2 on grey market

Very reasonable reply, thank you TI!

I'm just over here "patiently" waiting for my underfolder... :dancingbanana:  :ar15:

agreed.... better than is it here yet? lol

Received mine and brought it out last week. Barrel looked like #### out of the box and the dark black coating started peeling off while firing. Sent an e-mail to TI and they told me it was residue from the rust inhibitor and to just brush it off. Not sure if this is actually an issue? So this is just another problem to add to the list of issues to look out for for guys https://imgur.com/a/XdbCa7W

We said it could be residue, and to try cleaning and let us know...

They should have been inspected/gauged before leaving the factory. The misalignments being reported are evident to the naked eyeball - pretty obvious.

The factory has a gauge to check, it should stop anything from over 4mm from leaving. Iirc the most so far this shipment has been 4.5mm

Without a doubt a headache, But hey, Local vendors to me have said otherwise about these boys and girls. What about the last vender deal these guys did? We wanna talk about that? My local gun store refuses to deal with TI because the last time they vender sold items they dropped their prices right after and fubar'd the store for profit. Wasn't just one store either. I was ready to drop some serious $$ and they basically said your better off doing it yourself direct.. But let's not talk that.

100% false. If we drop msrp or have sale we reach put to any dealers with stock left and add credit to their account or unpaid invoices accordingly.
