I think you should have come out and try it. ;) D. Breau really seems to enjoy it. WHo cares if you shoot a Ruger 9mm,...Others from your "occupation" enjoy it,....and more from my neck of the woods will hopefully get there BB this spring/summer. Some have all the gear ready.

IPSC is spelled,.....F.U.N.:D

Really though,....I hope you take the plunge and start attending IPSC in NB. Don't come out and expect to kick ass.....I realized there are a lot of better shooters who know the sport better than I. It is a sport. ;)

Hey don't underestimate him he taught me how to shoot 20 years ago and did a not so bad job at it.

C-6 and a 200 round belt. Cyclic baby

I don't doubt he can shoot accurately.....but most PPC/Bullseye shooters find it overwhelming.....or fustrating at the level of accuracy AND speed required in IPSC......:cool:
 
I tell you what.....I will pay his match fee if he comes out to at least one match this season.

as to shooting.........
first you get accurate, THEN YOU GO FER SPEED...........always worked fer me.
anyway im more af a long gun shootter .........not that i dont know wich end of a sidearm to grab onto.

speed is fine,.....but accuracy is final. That is why I shoot a lot more called shots than i used to....
In production division (typical 9mm).....the guy that gets the best hits and points usually wins...

The IPSC-NB 2008 match planning committee would like to inform those shooters who plan on attending the match and need accommodations, that a block of rooms have been set aside for your convenience.

The Match Hotel is the Best Western Manior Adelaide in Dalhousie. The rooms are at $99.99 per night and will be held open until August 4th. , 2008

There is a limited amount of rooms available for Sunday, September 7th. therefore you are asked to book early to avoid disappointment.

When making your reservation please ask for the IPSC blocked rooms and confirm the amount per night.

Question ,I will travel from Ontario to NB with a restricted firearm get ATT than to the match no prob, after that I want to visit family in Nova Scotia still transporting firearm can I get ATT for that???:D

I am considering the same thing. Coming down for the shoot with my GF and then visiting my cousin in Halifax after.
I think we would need to store it somewhere (Friendly NB host?) while we visited and then the return ATT would cover the drive back.

OR get another Ontario guy who is local to transport it back for you

OR ship it back.


Anyone else know or have ideas?
 
Maybe sean hansen at Freedom Ventures would have a suggestion for getting the ATT to Nova Scotia. You might get yourself invited to the Atlantic markmen association range in Dartmouth nova scotia.
