It is the same spec as there club. I bought 5000 and the label said club. Some of my guns hate it but my CZ is OK with it.
Plinking for me not target ammo. The price should be 5-6$ a box of 50. Your Mileage Will Vary.

This is what should be expected. It isn't match ammo so it shouldn't be counted on to do well.

For the general reader, a .22LR ammo can't be relied on to shoot well simply because it's "standard velocity". Just as there's "cheap" HV ammo, there's "cheap" SV ammo. Inexpensive .22LR ammo of any kind can't be relied on for great accuracy performance.
 
I have found that to be true as well, though with exploration, I can also state that not every rifle shoots a $24/box to its potential.
I have a found a few ‘upper middle’ class ammo types that shoot as good as I could ever expect…in my rifles.
A warning: you may end up with about 30 brands and types of ammo trying! Ask me why I know.

That's at 100 yards, which isnt too bad. One shouldn't be as critical, oh have you made the 1/2" club yet?

But like others said, not all rimfires like the same ammo. I know a Anschutz 54 that doesn't like Tennex.
 
For me, it shoots similarly to CCI SV. Anywhere from 1.5-2" @ 100y. Not in my rotation for trying to get tight groups. However, fine by me since I happened to buy a brick on sale for less than SV at the time so it's great budget ammo for plinking and also runs fine in my semi autos.

Lot >>> Brand. The more I shoot, the more this rings true for me.

Avg people buy ammo to try and it doesn't shoot well. They're probably not gonna go back to it. I don't need to stick my finger in fire a 2nd time, to see if it hot.

First impressions matter and for the price it shouldn't shoot worst than Standard Plus.
 
I find, for the money in my 1022, its fine. Now, when i do my part and feed it eley's outlaw benchrest semi-auto, it prefers that.... but for the money, S&B Canadian Match is fine. Decent price at the time so i bought a case of it.

½" is some darn nice work that only comes with dedication, practice, quality rifles and much knowledge.

I don't think most people realize how much skill an off hand 100 yard shot takes.

I'm happy with 1 to 3" group at 100 yds off a bipod but I'm not competing, just plinking and the squirrels, racoons out back are usually only 10-30 yds away.

I buy whatever is on sale when I'm in town if I feel as though I need any.

You end up with many different kinds and you learn to remember which of your rifles like a certain type, my bolt, semi and lever all shoot good but all shoot different ammo to get the same results as each other.

The Outlaw ammo shoots beyond expectations out of my short barreled bolt and I save that ammo even though it's expensive for when the grandkids visit as nice groups at 50 yds is a real confidence builder for them.
The smiles when they hit the small spinners makes the expense worth it.
