@ Adam and OldRussian

Apologies for the late reply - I'm in Europe and back home tomorrow so haven't been on here for a couple of days.

The pricing was announced YESTERDAY only, and as of this morning, the Canadian Distributors are awaiting feedback from Vectronix on the following:

  • Warranty and how it will work exactly
  • ETA
  • Amount of units being made available to Canada
As soon as the 3 things above are finalized, I will update the thread.

This was the email I got from the Distributor a few minutes ago: "I have sent VSS an email this morning asking some questions about the launch dates and details on the warranty. Once they get back to me I will push it to you and the other retailers."

Also, we were informed this morning that stock will only be arriving "late summer" - most probably meaning late August to Mid September only.

We should be getting some of the very first units coming into Canada, as we submitted a large order the day they informed all dealers that we had been appointed dealers. Unfortunately, most of my incoming units are already spoken for, so should you wish to pre-order a unit now, it most probably won't be part of the first shipment.

You're welcome to call me to discuss.

Thanks

Robbie

Latest update from a friend in the US, is that Vectronix started shipping some units to the US last week, but it doesn't seem like we're getting any into Canada just yet.

With some luck and many fingers crossed, hopefully we start seeing some come to Canada late this month, but in all likelihood probably only October.... I hope I'm wrong. Vectronix hasn't given ANY indication of when and how many units we'll be getting in Canada. Seems they're going to first get them into the US, and we'll have to just patiently wait. But it WILL be worth the wait, of that I'm sure.

Stay tuned - I will update this thread the moment I have ANY news.

Cheers

Robbie

I received a DEMO unit this morning - and although it’s raining pretty heavily the whole morning, I’m already very impressed with the unit. Glass is super clear, RF ranges very well and the user interface looks very very nice!!!

I’ll play with it when the rain stops and update here.

Don't forget to sell it to me afterwards for a screaming deal 😉

I’m looking forward to these! Patiently waiting.
At long last the first ones started showing up in the US this week, so fingers crossed our first shipment to Canada is not too long now…

I have a DEMO unit with me as we speak - and I really really like it after playing with it for the past 6 days.

If there’s something specific anyone wants to know or wants me to check out, let me know and I’ll happily help as much as I can.

I believe the Garmin Chronograph and Vectronix Vector X’s are going to be the biggest game changers in the civilian shooting market in 2024. Can’t wait to get my hands on a pair with the magnifiers!

I fully agree!! Yet with the enhancers it’s 100% a tripod mount only to get ranges. It will even be difficult with the 12x42 without the enhancers to get consistent ranging done, as the hand movement is very noticeable - even on the 8x42s I have here - and it’s all due to how you need to depress the ranging button. You finger needs to be precisely placed.
