It's been a few years since I felt that taste in the back of my throat and the nervous excitement of finding "That" thing I just had to have.

OK, that's a lie, but it has been happening a lot less than it used to:slap:

All I want is a bread and butter SMLE, but it would have to be the one my great uncle carried in Ypres. Who knows, it may be the one in my cabinet right now!

Wouldn't mind a few Browning .50's, still inside the wings of a P51...
 
A a matching #'s '98 Mauser sniper that was still accurate. First or second war. It wouldn't matter to me.
 
I don't know if I have a "Holy Grail" but I'd certainly appreciate an FG42.

Would my grandfather count as one? I would have given everything I have to have had a chance to have a proper talk with him. Through two world wars, a civil war, spoke goodness knows how many languages, was a doctor, came to Canadas west and travelled the north west coast... when I was around I was too young to care and he was quite far gone to talk to me about it.

I guess my most favoured rifle is a Ross MkIII... I guess that means I don't need any more then:(
