C1A1 Sniper

I wouldn't say Korean War, but Cold War.
With respect, the Korean War ended in 1953. The FN FAL was designed beginning in 1947 and went into manufacturing in the early 1950s and was issued for sale in 1953, i.e. Korean War Era :) The FNC1A1 is a variant of the FN FAL. By the early 1950s and 1960s, it was widely adopted by NATO countries and other allied forces, earning it the nickname "the right arm of the Free World."

Anyway, main battle rifles have come a long way since the Cold War era :)

Which literally tells us the FN FAL did not serve in the Korean war. - dan

I was a scrawny 18yr old 145lbs in 1983....the FNC1 was heavy.....ergos of a 2x6 too.

I was an accomplished shooter/hunter by the time I entered the army....it was far from the 1st rilfe Id ever shot.
I learned to shoot it well....humpin that ##### around with a few mags was never fun.
It did instill confidence tho that it would always go bang....and the 762 round was good horsepower .

Couldn't get my (our) head around the switch to a groundhog cartridge for a battle rifle .....the AR platform was amazing...the cartridge choice stoopid...then and now. Should have stuck with Stoners original design...including a piston driven action.

#### and click Canadian FN or from another country? If its Canadian in good shape they seem to be commanding a good price these days.

That's funny I can't type c ock without a space as that would be rude....

I would hazard a guess that a c ock and click C1 would be well north of $1500.
