Merry xmas y'all. Hopefully I win the lotto max so I can afford most of what I want lol. However I must admit the gun I've been looking at is new and modern. It's barrels are the wrong way. It has laminate stocks. But it sure is pretty. The new 688 has my attention I can't wait to try one. Then it will be back to regular scheduled sxs guns

I really don't have much in the way of SxS shotguns other than an SKB M100 20ga and a Webley & Scott 12 bore. The W&S is visiting Chris
Dawe right now spending the holidays on NFLD. Lucky gun.
Chris kindly sent some pics a few days ago. He had to reduce the comb to fit to my big (and square) head so that required a refinish. I think we're both pretty happy with the results. 28" bbl with the chokes opened to SK1 and SK2.

The best of the Christmas season to all, but especially to those who devote time and resources to preserving the knowledge and artifacts of the past. Particularly in these turbulent times, it has never been more true that one needs to know where we've been in order to know where we're going.
Another commonality I wasnt aware of. No invitations to either of you then LOLI don;'t know about that last part. He's always trying to drink my good scotch when he's staying at my place!

May you fill your collections with vintage remingtons LOL That one is for you Spank Yes I still own three model 21's all were my grandfathers two were his skeet guns and will die with me Been all greased for long term storage and put away for must be 35 years now
