Intersurplus slow shipping

I ordered and paid before Christmas. I have a tracking number from CP from after Christmas which is exactly what I expected. CP is still telling me shipment delayed. I’m in no rush. Maybe UPS hasn’t even picked it up yet?
 
UPS has been swamped still catching up with overflow from CP closure. And crossing Holidays stuff prob is just sitting somewhere. Are there diff 'grades' of UPS service ? I haven't shipped UPS for 20-years so I don't know.

This s exactly where I'm at..ordered on the 21st got a shipping label and also got an email from Canada Post saying it's delayed.
 
I don't consider them a serious business, especially after dealing with Trade-Ex for so many years. Many of their comments/replies on this forum are straight up defensive.

Their website does not say anything about shipping delays because of CP strike. It actually says this:

Shipping details:​

Sender: Canada Post or UPS

Delivery time: 2 to 8 working days (Standard Delivery)

When ordering, you will receive by email or text message, according to your preference, the tracking number of the package.
 
I've never ordered from them but It's not uncommon for small, family run businesses to close over the holidays. I just looked at their site and it says this.

Due to a high volume of emails and packages to ship, our response and shipping times are longer than usual.

More the opposite. I run several small businesses. I am always open. But I don't get stressed out over customer needs or complaints.

But interesting, the remark you mentioned above was posted AFTER I posted.. It was not there before. Which again confirms my statement of being defensive.

Can they or him not just man up and cater to the above poster and apologize?

Do you mean they changed their website less than 20 minutes after you posted?

I even tried on 2 different browsers to see and cleared cache, nothing.

Seriously, the delay could very well be explained and calm down the nerves of the customer but I guess it appears to be easier just to have some fan boys attack the poster.

Made half a dozen orders from them over the last two years, no issues, but never ordered over the Christmas/ new years holidays just recovering from a month long mail strike either, iduno?

I'm no fan boy, never dealt with them. I do however find it ridiculous that so many feel that Amazon style shipping should be the norm for every business. Especially over the holidays.

Maybe the OP should try calling them, it may be more successful than posting in the General Forum on CGN.
