Coyote or fox?

Shiba Inu obviously

The body looks way too thick to be a fox. I made a few bucks trapping and shooting fox back in the day and never saw one as thick as that in the mid-section. Very neat specimen to say the least.

I have seen reddish coyotes as well as black and also very pale ones so who knows. Definitely not a fox but could also be photoshop.

That is a Skinwalker....or a photoshopped picture, ain't no foxes that thick.

...and then there was no one left to tell the king that the sky was falling.

Looks like a coyote to me. Possibly a cross with a dog?

Norfolk County butts up against the Six Nations Reserve, a place known for decades for having feral dogs running around. If there was going to be any place around here with dog/coyote crosses, that’d be it.

It's a well fed red fox, fluffed out in the cold, or, as has been suggested, it's a photoshop. You generally don't have a wild canine looking back and giving you a genial grin like that, not to say that it couldn't happen by an accident of the camera. Most tellingly, perhaps, is that there are no signs of tracks in the snow, it's like it floated down from the sky.

I have never seen coloring like that, for sure. Any time they have a red ass I leave them in the field for the Ravens. I was told it's some disease and I am not getting close enough to find out.
