The picture of the action shows a lasered s/n that also includes 2024 so I'm assuming they are new production. Are these old stock or current production?

The previous imports were not threaded and the pictures posted look the same. Are the muzzles threaded?
It was the small Scorpios that were threaded. Are the muzzles threaded?
That is really look like a trainer version of SSG 69.The full length NR-15 model looks to have a new stock and is threaded.... also a different magazine?

Thanks. I was curious how the Scorpio 13 inch attacked up against the jw15-a.I have both Scorpio and the 13" is an odd little rifle.
I much prefer the JW15A, it's way more fun to shoot.
Maybe they meant the manual for this rifle that 'sprouted' in a tree.Ahh, yes. The .22 Bolt Action SPROTING RifleView attachment 916363
The front sight is a simple dovetail, I'd shoot it with the stock sight and your tech sight and see how well the height works out and then I'd order a fiber optic replacement of the correct size dovetail and correct height for the Tech.Perfect, compact .22LR with iron sight, just what I was looking for. Would the front sight work with Tech Sight's CZ452 rear sight? Don't know if they have exact same height as CZ452.

Didn't knew front was removable, and thanks for suggesting other rear sights. Only had Tech Sights in mind but definitely could use lower sight height...The front sight is a simple dovetail, I'd shoot it with the stock sight and your tech sight and see how well the height works out and then I'd order a fiber optic replacement of the correct size dovetail and correct height for the Tech.
I would guess that you will need the tallest front sight available looking at how tall the tech sight is.....

An NECG rimfire peep or maybe a Skinner might be a better option to keep the sight line a bit lower....

I have a few low peep sights around I will give it a go when I get a chance and report back....Didn't knew front was removable, and thanks for suggesting other rear sights. Only had Tech Sights in mind but definitely could use lower sight height...
If I were to hazard a guess, perhaps lower production quantity? One thing I dont get is why is the shorter barrel one $20 more?
same stock, same action, same sights....just shorter.
AFAIK I can tell too, the JW and NR take the same action.
Correct, it uses a different magazine. The full length NR-15 model looks to have a new stock and is threaded.... also a different magazine?

The stocks sure look different and the magazine... but to answer your question as to why one might be more popular and thus command a higher price.... the shorter version with it's 13" barrel length is less common in the market of bolt action .22lr's and put it in a niche of it's own.One thing I dont get is why is the shorter barrel one $20 more?
