AR .22 uppers?

Nothing about it on TS's site?

Nope. But if you search for Shot show 2008 you'll see a picture. I'll see if I can post one here. There's limited info in it. It does however look good.

The above pictures are the Tactical Solutions dedicated .22 uppers. :)

Oh my god! And the magazine was designed to look full! SOLD.

I'm going to place my name on that list.

I believe the magazine is a 27 rounder. But it does look good. I like how it looks like a real AR mag instead of a kit.

Exactly.

You're going to laugh, but my biggest turn-off for .22 and 9mm kits is the stupid looking magazines: I mean, how hard is it to make a standard looking mag?? As dumb as it sounds, that lack of aesthetics is probably the biggest reason I don't have a 9mm AR right now.

In any case, I now have a reason to spend 1100$+ on an AR. Cheap ammo and a decent upper. Yay :D

I don't know but they look good. Some of the other offerings I've seen look lame. Plus it would be better and closer to the real mags for quick changes etc. Practice makes perfect. The old muscle memory cliche.

I found a bit more info:

If it works reliably then I'll be a very happy camper and jump on it for sure. Between the AA kit for the glock and it they ever come out with the 22 kit for sig pistols we keep hearing about then I'll be smiling again. The price of 223 ammo these days and ammo in general is making me rethink things. And a reliable 22 AR upper is high on the list. The mag thing is a bonus too.

Is it possible to import fake cans from the US? That website ships to Canada, so I was thinking of getting a few Black Dog magazines and the can.

Spike's tactical looks good as well.

However one thing I would suspect is the Tactical Solutions .22 upper will be very accurate. After checking out their other products I think this one will be good. Besides there's nothing cooler than at first having the old guys get up in arms with your AR in the indoor range, then after being told it's a .22, having it shoot very accurate groups. It'll be enough to send some over the edge, and have others start to change how they think. Either way it will be fun.

think i might go with a spikes anyways, one with lightweight rails, fake can, specter length rail comes to 600$, another 300 for import and im only at 120$ more than the questar import with no need to add accesories

The varmint/target model is more my interest.

Either way, it's nice to see some quality .22 upper products coming out. It was too bad the DPMS, Bushmaster etc dedicated uppers didn't cut it.

yea it is to bad.

wonder what the accuracy will be, dont know if the difference between a 16" tactical and 16" target model is going to be very much different. guess it depends on the barrels.
