PRC shooters are like vegans.

that's what the girl working the fish n chip shop told me why they dont run tallow for their fries. all the vegans/people not eating beef.
Ahh yes. The FISH and chips place. Concerned about all the vegans. That makes sense.

This may come as a surprise to you, but fish isn't vegan, and nor are fries cooked in the same oil as fish...

What's wrong with owning and bragging about rescue dogs?

They're effn awesome dogs. Get to watch them go from scared, abused cases to these wonderful members of the family.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a rescue dog. I like all dogs and I'd take one in a second for the same reasons you state. I walk my dog on a daily basis at a place where there are lots of other dog walkers. Whenever I run into a rescue dog owner it usually takes less than 10seconds for them to tell me that their pet is a rescue. I don't know why they do that, and I don't care if their dog is a rescue or not. Why insist on telling me? Vegans do the same. They can't wait to tell all of their dietary habits like it's virtue signaling.

I was adopted out of a bad situation as a young boy. It changed my life. My stepfather was a great guy who treated me the same as his two sons but he never once referred to me as his rescue son. :)

Not putting words in supercubs mouth but I THINK, what he was referring to in his post about the manbun, Starbucks etc is that many (most?) people that adored these new “designer” calibres (PRC, Creedmoor) do so because they chase trends (like manbuns, Starbucks, EV’s, etc) and these are the new trendy calibres. That is not to say that there is no Merit to these new chamberings just that many have to have the latest and greatest fad. And then you have guys like me that, had I been around at the time would have called the caplock a fad that will never catch on, flintlocks rule. All depends on one’s priorities and what will make you happy. Doesn’t (or at least SHOULDN’T) matter what anyone else thinks.
The whole thread is supposed to be a joke. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing real, nothing personal.

We need to lighten up sometimes. :)

Some of this has been a funny read for sure!
I personally find preachy people, as a rule, just do not fit my style.
It still sucks that the world is so intolerant though.
We are all part of a community that the government is after. Does it matter what cartridge is being shot at the range as much as making sure that the bench has someone there shooting?

You live in a different sort of place apparently. I have never had anyone talk to me about either. Maybe it’s the places I don’t hang out that’s key.

All that is pretty funny, that said I have a few vegan friends and some vegetarian ones, I have friends that shoot 6.5cm and some shooting the 28 nosler, I don’t think I know anyone up here with a PRC I’m sure there are some, but I don’t know them! I never encountered someone at the club or else where that was bragging about there calibers or rifle, people up here seems to keep it to themself. So I never experienced the bragging part! Oh and I even have a friend trapper, hunter that drive an EV truck, he is not vegan and he never went to university….
As far as university degrees goes, lots and lots of shooter/hunters up here have them, I don’t but I won’t brag about that lol!

I mean that is fair. I only when people ask what happened to him. He is heavily scared.

I love the way that you do everything right... I think I should pattern my stock trading after Nancy Pelosi and the rest of my life after you...

Thats Hilarious. It is so funny that a senile old woman that can hardly speak anymore out trades the best hedge fund managers on wall street and even Warren Buffet himself. Yet no one on the left seems to have any problem with that.

Too funny….this subject made 4 pages!😂. Ford vs Dodge vs Chev and my dad’s stringer than yer dad😁. Hunters and shooters are humans and like everything, there’s all kinds…some quiet smart ones, some loud ones (sometimes smart too)…and some that love to share their info (sometimes making a persons ears bleed lol)…and this goes a lot further than the range and hunting.
As per subject, so many calibres out there just like rifles…savages often outshoot guys with fancy rifles. At the end of the day I like a rifle (bolt, lever, small, big, whatever) and that serves the purpose. I think ‘PRC’ (own a 6.5 and 300) can shoot very well….., but also specific to the 6.5 calibre, I also own a creedmoor, a couple 260’s, and a couple 264’s, and love them all when they shoot well. I load and practice at longer distances at times, but lucky enough to have most my hunting inside 100 yds (often inside of 50yds).
I like and appreciate so many calibers from lever in 30-30 up to 45-70/450 and 460 s&w to bolts from 260-300wsm and prc…and including 270 and 308’s for what they are and what they’re not….and pretty much any of them would suit my typical ‘hunting’….but I also often long for and enjoy a good steak (or ribs, or chops, or brisket, or, or, or)😎. Cheers all! Happy Saturday Mormon coming down…enjoy your weekend and be safe.View attachment 976810
Some great points. Shoot what you want, shoot what ya like, shoot what works for the application. What we should all be untited behind is trying to protect our rights to hunt and shoot.

Not to go into details... people who dont eat beef were mentioned.

I always tell vegans that they are disrespecting their family. Then they ask why?

I tell them that their ancestors didn't claw their way tot he top of the food chain so they could eat soybeans.
