Hi, I recently found a range near me that allows walk in for trap and skeet shooting. I was looking for a good budget O/U, I would like it to be used for both and in 12g. I was looking at getting a used nicer O/U like I’ve seen many people here recommend but, I’ve never dealt with a O/U and would prefer one with a warranty. Any recommendations/advice is greatly appreciated.

Trap and skeet are totally different games. For trap a fixed full/mod choke would be perfect. Lots of older "B" guns would be a perfect fit for trap. When it comes to skeet you might want something with more open chokes say min Mod/IC. You could shoot skeet with tighter F/M chokes but you would be at a disadvantage if you are just starting out.
If you want to play both games a gun with inter-changeable chokes would be a better choice. A low mileage "B" gun that fits you will likely last for years without having to worry about a warranty.

Any quality over under will shoot tens of thousands of rounds before requiring service, as long as you do your part as far as general cleaning and lubrication!! You will get a much higher quality gun buying used compared to new for the same money. Many of the newer sporting guns have higher ribs which would be better for trap and theycome standard with changeable choke tubes. If you have the chance I’d be joining that club as well!!

If ypu can handle a few that be the best , but something with multi chokes will be fine to start with.
A new Browning or Beretta, or if thats out of the budget a higher end Turkish made O/U Catma , huglu or Canuck are better quality ones. They have all the adjustable buttstocks to get the fit right. And have a warranty.

For now I’m only planning on going once or twice a year so, I’m going to start off with a Turkish shotgun and then upgrade from there depending on how much I go. I’m debating between three Turkish guns. The Huglu BH100 F 12, JTS E60.1, and the Canuck over/under. If anybody has any experience to share with these guns, I would really appreciate it.

If I were you I would drop the Canuck from your lineup of possibles. I know of 3 people personally who had nothing but problems with them. I would suggest having a look into the Akkar Churchill offerings in an O/U, the 206 and 812 series get lots of positive reviews from owners. I’ve got an 812 with around 3500 rounds thru it and it has been dependable and accurate. At some point I will upgrade to a “ B” gun , but the Churchill has been an excellent intro to the O/U world.
The Huglu offerings are very nice shotguns also and well worth considering, and I know absolutely nothing about the JTS lol

I have a Turkish Catma and so far no problems, and I shoot with guys who have a Huglu and have had no issues and also a Canuck with lots of rounds and no issues.

Haven't shot a Churchill but heard good things and was going to get one but went another way instead. But my Akkar has had no issues.

I have a buddy that works part time for a local gun store and his ‘job’ also involves testing shotguns at our gun club after repairs by the gunsmith. 90% Turkish guns.
There is a reason why so many old experienced chaps here are trying to steer you to a ‘B’. That stands for Brownings.
A used ‘B’ without a warranty is 10 times better than a ‘T’ shotgun with 3 warranties.

Thank you everybody for the input. I'm going to try and ask the range I'm going to if they have any rentals I could use before buying one. Hopefully, they have some options as I'm learning the gun has to fit you.

Hey, So I think I'm just going to have to pull the trigger and make a decision. Since I'm planning on shooting less the 200 rounds a year I've decided ill take the risk on a budget option. I'm deciding between the Canuck O/U, Stevens 555, Stoeger IGA condor, Buyuk Huglu BH100, or to get a Stoeger coach gun for now and get a better O/U later. If anybody has any experience with any of these guns please do let me know.

I shoot with club members who shoot Canuck and Hulu and are happy with them.
I shoot a Catma 505 and have had good luck with it. I like them and the Canuck and Hulu better because they have steel receivers and not aluminum with steel inserts.
Thank you so much. Have you every tried the Pointer Acrius. I seen one at Cabelas and it looks nice but I'm getting mixed reviews. I'm leaning towards the Canuck because of the O'dell Warranty. I really appreciate the response.
