Mint!. What caliber?
Mint!. What caliber?
Did you get the rifle just as a barrelled action?.I did most of the stock work. It started as a semi-finished, partly inletted, very Germanic looking stock. I did the final inletting, slimmed and reshaped it to give it a more English feel, and did the checkering. Credit for the barrel work belongs to someone else.
I got the barrel from another nutter on here. I can't recall where I got the action, probably a gun show. Local smith mated the two up for me.Did you get the rifle just as a barrelled action?.
Im debating putting one on my 1895I have a providence tool Lyman 21 sight for the win 95 and 1886 riflesView attachment 988770
It is .22 LR..Mint!. What caliber?
Must be a accurate fun rifle. It is .22 LR..
I heard with the sight you cant adjust the windage much. The Lyman 21 sight is historically correct for the 95 if you want the retro look.It requires one hole to be drilled and tapped (tap included with sight). The sight is a nice quality sight and costs about $300 and is available in two models ,one for 95 and 86 winchesters and one for the 94 win.Providence tool is a nice company to deal with as well
Okay that's not a bad adjustmentWindage adiustmentView attachment 988989

Mint!I've had many peep sighted rifles over the years along with a few shotguns. As long as yer eyes work fine, a good peep sight is dandy
fer hunting & target work.
These be me favorites at present as I did 'em up meself.
