The fact is that the us announced tariffs on everything, Canada retaliated, then the us exempted usmca goods, which were 70% of all trade (carney claims 85% but whatever). Canada has still been charging Canadians the tariffs on usmca goods for the last 5 months regardless and that is a big part of why the us says Canada is impossible to deal with. The 200% tariff that is charged on American dairy coming into Canada is the reason that you spend more money on milk and cheese than you do on meat when you go to the grocery store. So many Canadians refuse to acknowledge it, even here

It's only partially true.

US is charging 25% on cars and 50% on steel/aluminium even if all those items are USMCA compliant.

The tariffs on diary apply after a quota. Not saying I agree but it is what was agreed back then when Trump signed the USMCA.

Tariffs are terrible for both sides. A tariff is a tax and I hate taxes.

Donald Trump don't give a flying f about Canada or Canadians he loyal to Israeli billionaire elites, he in the Epstein files too. Carney too probably would not be surprised. Polievre not useful enough to be in them, it is us peasants versus the bankers, choose your side wisely.

What, so your solution is to sit in the heaping pile of #### we call Canada and stew in it ? Who cares if the statement is treasonous. You are correct. The tariffs on steel and aluminum are additional on top of everything else.
