Picked up some 7 prc cases at the range the other day. I'm starting to get that itch again. - dan
I have an Ultra Light ( 5 -12 oz all in ) custom R M7 with a 20 “ tube in 6.5 CM too - Very nice to pack for this old timer
Long Action: 270 Winchester all day every day. Short Action: 308 Win (Factory Ammo) or 7mm-08 if you reload. IMHO new isn't always better. Stick with what's proven and available. I'm not a fan of Magnums, but for the sake of covering all bases: 7mm Rem Mag for the aforementioned reasons. All the best.
Why the 7-08 ONLY if you reload ? - Theres LOTs of Great factory loads for a 7-08 !

Had to spend the day with my 13 year old English bull terrier. Tramadol to cut the nails and bath day. She's happy now though. Taking my nephew to the range tomorrow for his first time. Should be there just as the Black powder boys are about to finish. I love watching them. They are all great characters. Cheers

I can easily go beyond to around 3320fps but the extreme spread gets silly. 3146fps with a spread of 6fps on a given five shot string is pretty good and the results for a crap shooter like me make my day. Cheers
