"Buy Back Program" Price list for Individuals.

The 416D the list quotes at $650 is actually made by GSG and is a .22. The idiots who made this list could mot determine or realize this as they were most likely POLY staffers or Young Liberals volunteers ..

Yep, probably not their best or brightest (but even if they were it would still be a cluster).

To think about it another way, this would be like putting me into a roll where I needed to figure out what's what with the annual Liberal LGBQGHSGFDD..... Gender Party

Probably wouldn't end well.....

Haha the GSG 16 is worth only $50 less than an actual HK416 ($650).

From a pure money perspective I'm actually getting more than I paid. For example my Norinco AR 15 is listed at $1520 unless I'm reading this wrong. I got it for 1/3 the price so I'm pretty surprised it's that high. Having said that, this is all complete BS anyway such a joke.

I am lucky. I only have one rifle banned by the OIC garbage.

It's a GSG-16 in FDE that I bought on a lark from Cabela's for $400 on sale.

They want to pay me $600 for it? They can have it LOL

I don't understand the pricing, a WK180 from Kodiak Defense is priced at $2300 but there's G43's and historic rifles going for a few hundred bucks
Not to hard to understand in one of three ways.
1) They are the only "buyer" in town, so "take" what they "offer" and shut up and be "happy" you ungrateful criminal. (This is said very tongue in cheek)
2) The Wk180 is modern and had a price. G43 doesn't have a price due to age, so they have to be creative. It is "old," likely "outdated," so like a car it must depreciate in value a bunch. Other old used rifles go for a couple hundred, that must be "fair."
3) Take a dart board assign numbers and throw the darts to assign prices.

EDIT: Spelling/Grammar

Its wild that a lower receiver is a full firearm and a upper is worth nothing, they are pretty much guaranteeing that people aren't going to turn in their spare uppers if they are offering zero compensation for them.

The uppers are deemed prohibited devices by the government. They are expecting you to hand these in as well or face criminal charges. You won’t be able to sell or divest yourself of these legally the way this ill conceived gun grab has been thrown together by utter morons in Ottawa

Occasionally, the gummament has “appropriated” land from folks for major projects of national interest. Highways, damn reservoirs and the like.

In such cases, improvements to the land (houses, barns, maintained arable capacity), etc. are factored into the value of the land and are compensated accordingly.
No one builds a house in a vacuum.

Why then are all of the many “upgrades” and custom parts etc, not to mention magazines and ammunition, not considered and also part of the value.

It is doubtful anyone would have incurred the cost of a custom upper and barrel or any other upgrade if they didnt have the lower to put it on.

Its fascist bullsh*t regardless but if you are going to “appropriate” legally purchased property from ordinary law abiding Canadians, you have to buy the baby AND the bathwater.

Anything less is fascist and authoritarian.
Carney is a trump in sheeps clothing if u ask me.

More akin to Marxism than facism ….this government if leftist

Well,
Fascism is characterized by forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, and subordination of individual interests for the perceived interest of the nation.

Marxism is characterized by a class struggle between the bourgeoisie (owners of means of production) and the proletariat (working class) which, through revolution, eventually moves toward communal ownership.

To my mind, the actions of this government are more in line with the former. Using the rcmp against law abiding citizens, seizing property in the “national interest” and so on.

This “liberal” government has always worked to consolidate power in the hands of the few and have dictated the national interest.

Not that it matters what its called

Looks like some dealers or shops had a hand in making this list and pushed up prices on the leftover non-restricted rifles. I can't get my head around a Kriss Vector .22 SBR being listed at $2,250 when my Daniel Defense is only $2,520 — makes no sense. If someone offered $2,250 for my KV, I'd take it in a heartbeat.
