Paying $6.25+tax per round, I dont expect to receive open box, and sticky and corroded rounds. I have 70 year old ammo that has gone through wars and looks cleaner than this stuff.
Good experience in the past. This time not too happy.

Update on the second box that was sealed... slightly better finish on the brass, but the bullets are different fit and finish and colour, a lot more uniform and mat finish vs the open box ones that had silvery finish and casting marks on the main body. The biggest and most obvious difference are the primers, different sizes between the 2 supposedly identical boxes. Everything about this was so bizzare

Needless to say I'll never buy buffalo bore again.

Bought from Nechako online. This stuff is supposed to be the cream of the crop ammo. But doesn't feel like it. The speckles on the walls resemble water marks, makes me worried about how they were stored.

The other box seems to be sealed. But the primer side is also as discolored as these ones.

Will follow up with an email to them.

First time getting buffalo bore. Didn't know if anyone else had similar experience with that brand - that was my first thought with the post really.
From all the online reviews, it's supposed to be top shelf stuff.
Spending just over $300 on 40 bullets, you'd think they would at least arrive in good visual shape.

Wasn't sure if it's just BB poor quality control, and a common experience with them.

I've used nechako several times in the past with no issues. Will most likely again.

However, not sure if I was on the other end, I would have sent off the boxes to a customer in that shape, especially like I mentioned, after having spent some big bucks on it.

$300 could have bought you a reloading setup...
 
As a guy who reloads, and doesn't care too much about tarnished or ugly brass (as long as it's physically clean), those are borderline gross. The fact that you paid $300 for something that looks worse than unpolished brass isn't right. Actually, it looks like they tried to polish the crud off somewhat, or resizing marks?

Not looking for credibility, nor drama. Too old to give a śhit what others think about me anymore.
It is what it is.

Have been buying guns and ammo for decades. Don't need a "website status" to be credible.

Either way. Issue has been resolved. Nechako did good once I rached out to them and they have rectified the issue. They weren't the issue. Said that above. I'm guessing buffalo bore or whoever handled this particular ammo before is/was.

Like mentioned I just didn't know if that was a common BB quality issue. Never bought that brand before. Doubt I will again. Federal/barnes/hornady and similar have never let me down before. Will stick to that

Since when did this become a union shop? Sure he should’ve called the selling company first because it looks as though someone in the chain of custody handling this ammo swapped out the real BB for the junk we see. BB is top quality top performance ammunition.

A person’s knowledge and credibility don’t accumulate with how long a membership has been in place. If that were the case we wouldn’t have to read drivel from long time members, now would we?
