SRC-45?

I’m my case, and d like the 20” sporting carbine. Revolvers need all the ball length they can get to counteract the lost velocity from the cylinder gap.

yeah, lots of stores have the cheaper .410 only guns in stock, nobody has the .45 versions. Clearly they were more popular.

The .410 guns have interchangeable chokes and likely shoot 410 better than the rifled .45 versions with no choke, but it's damn convenient to also get to use .45ACP and .45LC, in my view. Guns are likely also built stronger to handle those pressures.

Also, trick seems to be to remove the gas shield on whichever side you do not put your face. Leaving both shields on seems to protect your forearm, but spits burning powder back at your face from what I am reading - not great. I'd rather just remove one of the shields, I think. If I ever get one of these, that is...

The tactical version might be an interesting gun to try to put an ACOG on... lol. I have astigmatism and red dots don't resolve sharply for me, while real optics are fine.

.410-gauge is just not a very good caliber.

It's obscenely expensive, and not very powerful. Pretty much any other caliber is better.

100%. First thing I did is take one shield off.

I’ve been shooting .45ACP exclusively out of mine. I’ve got a steel bullet catcher at about 50 yards and I duck out the back door to pound some .45 acp into it when the mood strikes me.

The .45 ball completely flattens out, and makes a nice ‘gong’ sound.

It’s very light and handy.
