I want a pistol caliber rifle with a shorter barrel. Semi-autos need an 18.6 inch barrel to stay non-restricted.

I already have one of those.

A pump would be interesting and fun too though! 12" barrel, glock mags. Short, handy, quick and they can't ban it... for now.

Once bitten twice shy. My Ruger PCC got banned a month after I bought it. Plus the option for a shorter barrel is really attractive.

I shoot lefty so a bolt action only interests me if it's real cheap. Pump action on the other hand...
