Had he chosen another Cal to write about and extoll its virtues (308 Win, 30-06, 280Rem etc etc) instead of the 270 Win, I’m sure whatever he chose would have the same cult like following that we do for the 270.

Cant deny the pure awesomeness of the odd six. Was one of the best cartridges for a very long time. Super Popular for good reasons. It had a great run in the 1900's till now.
