The Browning label or rebranding is not the problem here. The false advertising was. Bait and switch...Nearly everything with a Browning label, except their guns are just made for Browning or rebranded. Usually pretty nice quality, though.
Kinda disappointing about the pockets, and the way they fit together though.
Probably why they're being blown out.
And you can close the storm flap without any bunching on the inside ? If so how does that work ?I figured it out. The included liner jacket is the correct liner for the outer shell.
It's hard to explain but there are at least two ways to attach the liner to the outer using the zippers.
Yeah, I've done all that and nothing works proper. I think I tied my own shoes since I was 3...It's hard to describe.
One way is to zip the far left zipper to the right hand outer. It leaves the inner jacket unzipped but in place.
The other way is to zip inner/outer lefts together, same on the right side and then use the inner left/right to seal the whole thing but then the main flap covers only the right side of the inner zipped closure.
Like I said, you have to put the inner into the outer, put it all on and then it becomes more obvious.

It's definitely a counterfeit. You should put your tinfoil hat on haha. But seriously these were likely a small run by browning that didn't workout hense why they are on clearance for such low price. Don't like it don't buy it and spend three times more money for something better.Does this look "Gimped" or "Photoshopped" or, ... to anyone ? Asking for a friend... ?

For $99 it's hard to buy even a fleece jacket these days. I think they are worth the $.
It'll be a good range jacket or just bumming around in slightly cold weather.
I doubt I'll wear it for field work ss I have better quality 3 ply shells top and bottom plus fleece and down inner liners.
.
The hood design absolutely sucks but the hoods on most inexpensive jackets are usually terrible.
Looking cool was always more importantvthan being warm when I was a kid...........I took a chance on one for my boy, who much like the kids from my generation don't believe in winter gear. Shivering their hind ends off while trying to keep the cigarette from rattling out of their faces always looked a lil tarded to me.
Figured this one will be better than the (probably warmer) coat that sits in the closet now...
Looks like the
What's a counterfeit Browning? It's not like the same guys who are making the guns, go into another part of the factory with looms and sewing machines.Browning stickers, bows, knives, flashlights, hats, clothes, and even the guns are made in different countries and factories around the world.
Ever see Winchester or Remington knives??
Unlike some companies, the brand is a pretty good indicator of quality. It's unfortunate that you feel gipped, and I understand it. I'm sure they'll take it back.
I've seen costs from the original picture for sale online yet; though maybe dwindling out also. They're going for 3-$400 still.
I'd suggest checking out the Redhead Elite parkas at Cabela's/Basspro. They're pretty decent 3 in 1. Bought a white camo one a couple years ago. And I liked it enough to buy the matching bibs not too long ago and I also picked up another Redhead Elite parka in the strata camo. Seems they're always on a good sale, and I hope they continue to sell them. Think I paid about $180 for each parka on sale. The shirts and day packs are nice too.
I buy items/products based on features/specs which suit my needs. It's not to look cool with a cigarette in my mouth.
The features as were described by this retailer on their website DO NOT exist on the product they sent out. Hence the product is useless to me.
E.g. If I was to sell a Savage 110 on the EE, advertise as such (with doctored images) and then send out an Axis what do you think would happen ? I'll tell the buyer, hey it's still a Savage ? Lol...
You guys should give your heads a good shake !
Looking cool was always more importantvthan being warm when I was a kid...........
I'm not saying I wouldn't be annoyed by it.
Heck, send it back!
BIg difference between an Axis, and a 110, vs a couple less pockets.
Personally, I probably wouldn't have bought it for myself with those pockets. But I already have a few three in one coats. But I still bought one for someone who doesn't carry lots of stuff in his pockets. Just saying it was a good deal for $100.
No one looks cool with a cigarette hanging off their lips.
Have you phoned them about it yet?
