Nah guys. The storage transport argument is silly. Making a rifle shorter, but wider won't help you an iota in a locker. It would make it worse actually taking up an extra 1/2 a rifles width. Same goes for transport. It would be different if the barrel was 14" and folding the buttstock made it 16" long I suppose, but that's not the reality here.
Getting in and out of armoured vehicles, no I haven't and I initially said, there is a benefit in that scenario...but this is a commercial variant...so why the folding stock that will wear, will get loose, and that's if the bloody things stay locked when they're supposed to stay locked.
Then there's the whole butt swiping Liberals thing. Breaking the buttstock on some creamfilled snowflake's eggshell head has got to be a problem?
